◆ Product Introduction.
The WHIMS magnetic separator is a strong magnetic separation equipment with superior performance.
The machine employs a rotary ring with vertical rotation, and recoil concentration, and is equipped with a high-frequency vibration mechanism. It has the advantages of a large enrichment ratio, high adaptability to ore particle size, concentration, and grade fluctuations, as well as good work efficiency, convenient operation, and maintenance.
Application areas: Vertical ring magnetic separator is suitable for impurity removal iron purification of non-metallic ores such as quartz, feldspar, nepheline, kaolin, wet separation of various weak magnetic metal ores such as -1.2 mm (-200 mesh accounting for 20-30%o) fine red ore (Hematite, Limonite, Siderite, etc.), manganese ore, ilmenite, Wolframite, black scheelite separation, black tungsten and cassiterite separation.
◆ Advantage Features.
1. Unique magnetic medium, high induction magnetic field. The magnetic medium adopts the patented product developed by our company, which can generate a high gradient magnetic field, and the induction field strength can reach more than 20,000 Gauss.
2. Oil-water composite dual cooling, more stable magnetic field. The cooling method of the vertical ring high-gradient magnetic separator employs the principle of oil-water heat exchange, utilising flushing water to rapidly dissipate the heat generated by the coil. This ensures that the coil's temperature rise is less than 25°C, thereby stabilising the magnetic field.
3. Fault diagnosis system and remote control system. This configuration of the vertical ring high gradient magnetic separator realizes the intelligent operation control of the equipment.
4. Optional pulse device. It can be selected according to the characteristics of different materials, with the characteristics of good flushing effect, good sorting effect, and water saving.
◆ Working principle.
The slurry enters the feeding bucket through the feeding pipe and flows through the rotating ring along the upper magnetic field gap. The induction magnetic medium composed of the high magnetic permeability stainless steel rod in the rotating ring is magnetized in the background magnetic field, and a high gradient magnetic field is formed on the surface of the magnetic medium. The magnetic particles in the slurry are adsorbed on the surface of the magnetic medium and are brought to the top magnetic field-free area as the rotating ring rotates. The magnetic material is flushed into the concentrate bucket through the flushing with pressure flushing water, and the non-magnetic particles flow into the tailings bucket along the gap under the magnetic pole to be discharged, so as to achieve the sorting of materials. The magnetic medium at the bottom of the rotating ring is immersed in the slurry liquid surface. While the slurry is injected, the stroke box installed on one side of the tailings box is constantly reciprocating, and the slurry in the sorting chamber fluctuates up and down through the tympanic membrane. The pulsating fluid force keeps the ore particle group in a loose state during the sorting process, thereby effectively removing impurities in the particle group and significantly improving the grade of the concentrate.
